Elementary | The Well Church

Our vision is to see the gospel saturate a people, awakening them to the glory of God to treasure Jesus as better.

In Well Elementary, we do this by partnering with parents to build a gospel-saturated spiritual framework for their children's lives by offering weekly guides for the sermon & bi-monthly gatherings for children (1st-6th Grade) & their parents to give them both the resources & care they need to teach, talk, & tie the gospel into everyday life.

Whether in worship on Sundays, Well Elementary class time, or Elementary Breakfast Club, our "framework" for Elementary discipleship (built on the "foundation" laid in Well Kids) stands on three legs -

Christian Story, Belief, & Formation developed by The Village Church in Flower Mound, TX.

STORY

We learn Bible reading skills & the basic storyline of Scripture.

"What does the text say?"

BELIEF

We study the attributes of God & classical Christian doctrines.

"What does the text mean?"

FORMATION

We practice spiritual disciplines growing in Christ together,

"What must we do then?"

Each of our volunteers have completed a rigorous safety screening process & stands ready to serve you & your family with the love of Jesus! Interested in serving as a Small Group Leader? Contact Sean! *Membership is required.

Breakfast Club is from 8:30-10am in the kids building (north) here at Freedom Farms every 4th Sunday of the month. Bring a friend, Bible, & appetite because breakfast is provided so we can learn more about who God is, what He's done, & how that changes our lives! Parents are welcome to join OR fellowship together in Room 1. Your choice!

Well Elementary class time helps kids process what they're learning in "big church" & takes place during worship in Room 3. from 10:15am-12:15pm. However, grades rotate (below) due to space limitations & a desire to keep the main worship gathering primary. No breakfast or parents (unless they're serving) are provided. Sorry!

1st Sundays - 1st-2nd grade
2nd Sundays - 3rd-4th grade
3rd Sundays - 5th-6th grade
4th Sundays - Breakfast Club
5th Sundays - Linger Lunch*

*BYOL(unch) & let's eat together outside after church when the weather is nice!

FAQs

When do I need to get there?

It’s a good idea to arrive at least 10-15 minutes early in order to have plenty of time to park, get kids checked in and connect with others. Our service starts at 10:30AM, but the Sanctuary doors and child check-in is open at 10:15AM.
What should I wear?

You’re invited to come as you are, whether it’s a suit or shorts or whatever you feel most comfortable wearing. Our members and attendees tend to dress pretty casual.
